A sway bar link — also called a stabilizer link, anti-roll bar end link, or "dog bone" — is a short rod that connects the outer ends of the sway bar to a suspension component, usually a control arm, strut, or steering knuckle. How Many a Vehicle Has
Most modern vehicles have a front sway bar, so they have at least one link on each side of the front axle — two total. Many also have a rear sway bar, which adds two more links, for four total (one per wheel). Not every vehicle has a rear sway bar, so don't assume four is universal — a vehicle with a front bar only will have two links, not four. This research didn't turn up a reliable figure for what share of vehicles ship with a rear bar, so that's a fair question to check against your specific vehicle's parts diagram rather than assume.
