The Problem

Are Your Suspension Bearings Failing Too Early?

If your spherical bearings cannot maintain precision under load, your entire suspension system performance suffers. We focus on structural strength, clearance control and long-term stability — not just price.

Excessive Play After Short Mileage

Loose clearance tolerance leads to rapid wear and sloppy handling feel — a common complaint from performance suspension customers that damages your brand.

🔊

Noise & Vibration Under Load

Improper clearance specification or inconsistent liner bonding causes knocking and vibration that creates warranty claims and customer dissatisfaction.

🔧

PTFE Liner Peeling or Premature Wear

Poor liner bonding process leads to delamination under dynamic load — especially in motorsport and off-road applications with high articulation frequency.

📐

Installation Tolerance Mismatch

Outer diameter variation from batch to batch creates press-fit issues during assembly, causing production line downtime and costly rework.

🔄

Binding Under High Articulation

Standard bearings lack sufficient misalignment angle for long-travel suspension, resulting in binding at full droop or compression and premature failure.

📦

Inconsistent Batch Quality

Low-cost suppliers deliver inconsistent clearance and surface finish between batches — creating unpredictable field performance and quality control problems.

Product Definition

What Is a Suspension Spherical Bearing?

A suspension spherical bearing — also known as a uniball joint — is installed at the shock absorber mounting point (eyelet) to replace rubber bushings and provide precise articulation under dynamic load.

Compared to rubber bushings, spherical bearings deliver measurably superior performance in handling precision, load capacity and service life consistency.

1

Allow multi-angle movement while supporting radial and axial loads simultaneously

2

Eliminate elastic deformation that blurs steering and handling feedback

3

Improve handling precision through direct mechanical connection

4

Support high load transmission in motorsport and heavy-duty applications

Core difference

Controlled Radial Clearance - F1/F2/F3

Clearance directly affects handling precision, noise behavior and service life. We offer three precision clearance grades with custom specification available on request.

F1

Tight Clearance — Racing / Low Play

Minimum internal play for maximum steering precision. Designed for competitive motorsport where any deflection reduces driver feedback. Suitable for high-speed, high-load applications.

F2

Standard Precision — Performance Suspension

Balanced clearance optimized for street performance and aftermarket coilover systems. Excellent feedback while maintaining smooth articulation and noise-free operation.

F3

Looser Fit — Heavy-Duty & High Load

Larger clearance designed for heavy-duty off-road applications and high-load industrial use. Accommodates thermal expansion and contamination without binding.

Why Clearance Control Matters

Improper clearance specification directly causes:

Knocking noise under dynamic load
Excessive play and vague handling feel
Accelerated liner and race wear
Installation complaints and warranty claims

Correct clearance control delivers:

Reduced noise and NVH complaints
Improved handling feedback and precision
Extended service life and lower warranty rates
Consistent installation fit across batches

Custom clearance specification available upon request. We support fit tolerance recommendations based on housing dimensions and application requirements.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Technical Questions & Common Enquiries
What is the difference between COM-T and GE series bearings?
COM-T uses a bonded PTFE liner and is completely maintenance-free — ideal for performance and motorsport suspension where re-lubrication is impractical. GE series is steel-on-steel with grease lubrication, providing higher static load capacity at lower cost. GE is preferred for heavy-duty applications with accessible lubrication points.
Yes. We support full drawing-based custom production. Submit your technical drawing with bore diameter, outer diameter, width, clearance specification and material requirements. Our engineering team responds within 24 hours. Small-batch prototypes are available before volume commitment.
Yes. We assist customers with housing tolerance recommendations, outer diameter adjustment for press-fit specification, and clearance grade selection based on assembly requirements. This engineering support is included as standard OEM cooperation — not an additional service charge.
Yes. We support OEM production with customer-specified part numbers, drawings and packaging requirements. Private label packaging with custom branding is also available. We operate as a long-term manufacturing partner — not a spot supplier — designed to support ongoing product line development.

A high misalignment design features modified inner race geometry that allows greater angular deflection than standard COM-T or GE series. This is critical for long-travel off-road suspension where standard bearings would bind or generate internal stress at full droop or compression. Often used in combination with misalignment spacers.

We offer F1 (tight — racing/low play), F2 (standard — performance suspension) and F3 (looser — heavy-duty/high load). Choice depends on application load, housing tolerance, operating temperature range and noise requirements. We recommend sharing your housing bore specification so our team can recommend the appropriate grade.

Standard outer ring is 35CrMo or 40Cr alloy steel, heat-treated and precision ground. Inner ball is GCr15 bearing steel, with a hard chrome option for higher load and corrosion resistance. Stainless steel construction is available for marine or chemical environments. Surface treatments include phosphate, zinc plating and black oxide.

Yes. Dimensional inspection reports covering bore measurement, hardness values, clearance verification and key dimensional data are available upon request. This documentation supports incoming quality control processes for OEM customers and validates batch-to-batch consistency.
