At the recent SEMA 2025 Show, a 15-year-old classic JDM car, the Honda S2000, caught everyone’s attention with its impressive modifications. Bulletproof Automotive, a Los Angeles-based company known for its aftermarket products and race car manufacturing, has taken this Honda S2000 AP2 to the next level. To celebrate Bulletproof’s 25th anniversary, this car has been named the S2000 BP25. Let’s take a closer look at the upgrades.

Under the hood, the S2000 BP25 is powered by a 2.0-liter F20 inline-four engine, equipped with a Vortech V2-Si supercharger. This engine produces over 580 horsepower at 9300 RPM, with a redline reaching up to 10,000 RPM. It’s paired with an Amuse titanium exhaust system, a high-performance fuel system, and a Science of Speed race intercooler.

The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission from the Honda AP2, featuring a shorter shift throw, an ACT flywheel, and a limited-slip differential developed by ASM and Drexler.

The suspension system has been upgraded with Top Secret Super Dampers coilover shocks, along with parts from renowned brands like J’s Racing, Spoon, and EVS. The car sits on 19-inch BP-RW Evolution wheels, inspired by the Japanese Tsuchime hammered metal technique, commonly found on Japanese kitchenware and knives. These wheels are wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888R tires, sized 295/30ZR19. Hidden behind the wheels are Brembo Pista brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers.
